Dear parent/carers, We have been informed by Catering Services that kitchen staff in all schools are no longer working on site to provide hot food in an attempt to reduce transmission. They are providing a cold packed lunch offer instead as they did in the previous lockdown. Kindest, WCPS

Following the government’s announcement on Monday 4th January 2020, Western will be closed to pupils until at least February half term (Monday 22nd February). The school building will be open for key worker and vulnerable children ONLY.

Please can we ask parents and carers to take care of each other by not congregating outside the gates on West Street. Families have told us they don’t feel safe walking past groups of adults who are smoking and chatting.
